Flexible Socket Adapters
Flexible Socket Adapters (FSAs): Configure Your Gateworks SBC for Any Connectivity Requirement
Gateworks Flexible Socket Adapters allow VeniceFLEX and Catalina SBCs to support M.2 or Mini-PCIe expansion, enabling wireless, AI acceleration, storage or I/O customization without redesigning your system.
Instead of redesigning hardware when connectivity requirements change, FSAs allow you to select the appropriate expansion interface during configuration or production.
This enables a single SBC platform to support:
- Cellular modems (4G LTE, 5G)
- Wi-Fi radios (Wi-Fi 6/6E, Wi-Fi HaLow)
- GPS/GNSS receivers
- AI Accelerators
- NVMe storage
- Satellite communication modules
