Gordon Edmonds

President/CEO

Gordon Edmonds is the President, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Gateworks Corporation. Mr. Edmonds founded Gateworks Development in 1996, which was incorporated as Gateworks Corporation in 1998.

Before Gateworks, Mr. Edmonds was Software Development Manager at Ziatech Corporation developing BIOS firmware for industrial PCs based on STD Bus and Compact-PCI. Mr. Edmonds began his career as a Design Engineer at Hewlett Packard’s Data Systems Division, developing and supporting firmware for mini-computer disk drive systems.

Under Mr. Edmonds' leadership, Gateworks has seen significant sales growth over the last ten years and built a cost-effective highly automated SMT manufacturing capability in San Luis Obispo, California with significant profitability for the company. The company owns all its assets and is funded entirely from sales.

Mr. Edmonds received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.

Ron Eisworth

Ron Eisworth is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and co-founder of Gateworks. Mr. Eisworth is responsible for all Sales and Marketing functions in the company including providing design engineering assistance to customers for the five families of Powerful ARM based Network Processor Boards.

Mr. Eisworth began his engineering career with General Dynamics as a Design Specialist in the radar design group performing analysis, design, test, and evaluation of advanced digital signal processors. He then joined Ziatech Corporation as a Hardware Engineer, designing Compact-PCI and STD Bus based industrial computer systems. He joined the newly formed Gateworks as Principal Engineer designing custom Compact-PCI solutions and Compact PCI Server Blade products prior to assuming responsibility for Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Eisworth has led Gateworks in achieving hundreds of design wins that cross over many market segments and applications. These design wins have resulted in significant revenue increases and sales growth over the last 10 years along with recognition by Inc. 500/5000 for fastest growing companies.

Mr. Eisworth received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, California and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Doug Hollingsworth

Doug Hollingsworth is Vice President of Engineering and co-founder of Gateworks. Mr. Hollingsworth is responsible for all development of the company’s industry-leading Powerful ARM-based Network Processor Board Solutions for receiving and transmitting audio, video and data in embedded wireless network systems.

Before Gateworks, Mr. Hollingsworth was the Hardware Development Manager at Ziatech Corporation and was responsible for the development of STD Bus and Compact-PCI products. Mr. Hollingsworth began his career at Prolog Corporation as a Design Engineer leading a design team that developed a 16-bit extension to the STD Bus standard.

Mr. Hollingsworth has directed and completed the design of five generations of Network Processor Boards: AVILA, CAMBRIA, RINCON, LAGUNA and the new state-of-the-art VENTANA Family which integrates audio and video with a high-performance Network Processor Board. The new VENTANA Family is based upon the new, advanced Freescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 1.2 GHz Single, Dual and Quad Cores Processor to push product performance up to the next level. Over 250 board-level products have been designed and introduced under Mr. Hollingsworth’s leadership.

Mr. Hollingsworth received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.

Kelly Peralta

Kelly Peralta is Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Gateworks. Kelly Peralta is responsible for Sales Growth including Strategic Account Management, New Business Development and Partner Management.

Kelly began her career at Avnet Electronics where she consistently surpassed sales quota goals year after year for more than 20 years. At Avnet, she focused on technical sales in the embedded networking market. She also worked at Future Electronics in the Wireless and Connectivity Business Group where she successfully managed the Western U.S. Territory and gained valuable technical experience and relationships in the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4 and Cellular markets.

Kelly Peralta later worked for Silex Technology, a Qualcomm Authorized Design Center, providing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Solutions for the Industrial and Medical OEM Market. As Silex’s Director of Sales, she was a crucial member of the management team and played a key role in the development of the embedded wireless business unit. She successfully gained strategic customers as an individual contributor and helped lead the USA-based subsidiary to reach more than 50% growth during her tenure.

Kelly Peralta rounded out her sales experience in the embedded technology space as Director of Sales for the Eastern U.S. Territory for Virtium a leading manufacturer of Solid-State Storage and Memory solutions for Industrial IoT.

Kelly Peralta received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California in Irvine. She also participated in UCI’s MBA program as well as the School of Computer Science.

Christopher Lang

Chris Lang is the Director of Technology at Gateworks and is responsible for technology development in key areas of the company, including manufacturing, procurement, IT infrastructure, and the company’s ERP system. He supports each department with state-of-the-art solutions that maximize product quality and effective process management.

Mr. Lang began his career with California Internet Connection developing a Wireless Internet Network for San Luis Obispo County. Mr. Lang then joined Gateworks as a Software Development Engineer working on the AVILA, CAMBRIA, RINCON and LAGUNA Families of Network Processor Boards. Mr. Lang was promoted to Director of Operations before taking the role of Director of Technology.

Mr. Lang developed and implemented our innovative and advanced manufacturing ERP software which provides 100% traceability of product through the entire production flow. This software system provides computerized documentation control for all manufacturing processes from production work orders, bills of material, electronic change notifications, incoming material, inventory tracking, SMT file generation, production inspection, test, and customer shipping.
