Gateworks Corporation – Responsible Minerals Policy

(Conflict Minerals / 3TG – Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, Gold)

Gateworks is committed to responsible sourcing and to avoiding the use of minerals that finance or benefit armed conflict or human rights abuses in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs).

As a downstream manufacturer of single-board computers, Gateworks does not directly purchase raw 3TG ores or contract with smelters or refiners. We rely on our suppliers for 3TG sourcing information.

Gateworks has implemented a responsible minerals program aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and with Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act. Our program includes:

  • Maintaining this public Responsible Minerals Policy
  • Collecting Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRTs) from in-scope suppliers
  • Using SiliconExpert and direct supplier data to generate product-specific CMRTs for every Gateworks board
  • Providing the relevant product-level CMRTs to customers upon request
  • Expecting suppliers to use RMAP-conformant (or equivalent) smelters whenever feasible

Gateworks does not knowingly purchase components containing 3TG that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups. While most of our semiconductor suppliers provide only company-level declarations, we supplement that data with product-level BOM analysis to produce accurate, board-specific CMRTs.

Because of the nature of downstream supply chains, Gateworks does not issue a single company-wide consolidated CMRT. Instead, we provide product-specific CMRTs that reflect the actual components used on each board. After reasonable due diligence, we have found no indication that 3TG contained in Gateworks products finances or benefits armed groups in CAHRAs.

This policy is communicated to suppliers through purchase-order terms and is publicly available on our website.
