Learn More
The GW16160 is a M.2 (3042) precision GPS/GNSS adapter, based on the Septentrio Mosaic-X5 receiver. The GPS adapter is targeted towards UAV, robotics, and surveying applications where precision and interference mitigation are important. The Septentrio Mosaic-X5 receiver module supports the L1, L2 & L5 bands and has several advanced features such as AIM+ for interference and jamming mitigation, IONO+ for advanced scintillation mitigation and LOCK+ for superior tracking under heavy mechanical shock and vibration.
The module supports up to 448 hardware channels, including GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, Navic, SBAS, L-band and 5 constellation RTK (base and rover). An onboard microSD slot is available for storage and logging. The Gateworks Single Board Computer communicates to the module using USB 2.0 signaling which is supported on M.2 A/E-Key connector interfaces. Compatible with the Gateworks VeniceFLEX SBC family and other Gateworks SBCs with an M.2 adapter. A standard MMCX antenna connector is used on the module for GPS/GNSS connectivity with an optional second antenna for future product versions. Antenna and cables are sold separately. Software is supported in the Gateworks Linux BSPs.
For more details, such as specific bands, etc please view Septentrio's mosaic-X5 page here.
*Disclaimer: This M.2 Card has only been tested on Gateworks Single Board Computers. Gateworks only provides support when used on a Gateworks SBC.
