The GW2391 is a member of the Gateworks 4th generation Laguna family of single board computers targeted for a wide range of network applications such as embedded wireless, mesh repeaters, wireless point to multipoint bridges, WiMAX pico base stations, and 3G to WiFi router and gateways.  The board features the Cavium® ECONA™ CNS3410 ARM11 SOC processor operating at 300MHz, 256Mbytes of DDRII-400 DRAM, and 16Mbytes of Flash.  It includes two high-power Mini-PCIe sockets capable of supporting 302.11abgn, WiMAX radios, 3G CDMA/GSM Modems, and other PCI Express peripherals.  The board features a wide range DC input power supply which can source up to 16W to the Mini-PCIe sockets for supporting the latest high power radios. The GW2391 also includes the Gateworks System Controller for providing embedded features such as the real time clock, voltage and temperature monitoring, general purpose digital I/O, serial EEPROM, programmable front panel switch, tamper switch, GPS antenna open/short detection, and advanced power management with programmable board shut-down and wake-up for remote sensor applications.  Power is applied through a dedicated connector or an Ethernet jack in either a passive PoE or 802.3at architecture.  The board dimensions and mounting holes are fully compatible with the Avila GW2347 and GW2357.  An OpenWrt board support package is included for Linux operating systems.
