The GW5310 is a member of the Gateworks 5th generation Ventana family of single board computer (SBCs) targeted for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. The 5310 features the NXP™ i.MX6 Dual Core ARM® Cortex™ -A9 SoC processor operating at 800MHz, 1Gbyte of DDR3-1066 DRAM, and 256Mbytes of System Flash. Peripherals feature four high-power Mini-PCIe sockets capable of supporting any combination of 802.11abgn radios, 4G WiMAX radios, 3G CDMA/GSM cellular modems and other PCI Express peripherals including the GW16126 LTE CATM1 Cellular card, GW16122 Sub-1GHz radio, GW16130 Iridium Satellite Modem or LoRA radio. Two Ethernet ports allow for wired connectivity to a WAN and LAN. The temperature monitor, serial EEPROM, programmable front panel switch, tamper switch and advanced power management with programmable board shut-down and wake-up for remote sensor applications. A wide-range DC input power supply provides up to 30W of power to the Mini-PCIe sockets for supporting the latest high-power radios. Power is applied through a dedicated barrel jack connector or the Ethernet jack in a selectable passive or 803.3af compatible Power over Ethernet architecture. OpenWrt, Android, and OpenEmbedded Linux board support packages are included. The GW5310 is identical to the GW5300 but with all video interfaces removed. This makes it suitable for rugged and industrial applications not requiring multimedia but instead data and packet processing. The GW5310 is made in the USA.
