Supporting the Mission of the Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CCAMH)
At Gateworks Corporation, we are committed to the well-being of our community and initiatives that make a positive impact. We are thrilled to support and amplify the mission of the Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CCAMH). It is a remarkable organization dedicated to expanding access to quality, evidence-based youth mental health care.
We are particularly excited about CCAMH’s plans to open its first Treatment Center in San Luis Obispo (SLO). The center is set to open in late August, offering critical mental health services. The center will include a Treatment Center, a Parent Center, and a Teen Center, providing comprehensive support for young people and their families.
CCAMH’s Recent Achievements & Expanding Access to Mental Health Care in San Luis Obispo
The CCAMH recently won the Morgan Stanley Alliance for Children’s Mental Health Innovation Award, highlighting their impactful work. Led by Ramona Friedman, Ph.D., and Lori Butterworth, M.Ed., the CCAMH’s mission is to provide timely and effective mental health treatment for young people and their families. Their dedication to improving mental health care access and their innovative approaches have set a new standard for community-based mental health services.
We are inspired by the dedication of Ramona, Lori, and the entire CCAMH team. Their vision and hard work transform lives and provide hope for a better future. The challenges faced by today’s youth are unprecedented, and access to quality mental health care is more critical than ever. We are proud to stand with them and invite you to join us in making a difference. By supporting CCAMH, we are investing in the well-being of our community’s future. The new Treatment Center will provide a safe space for children and adolescents to receive the care and support they need to thrive.
A Call to Action & Thank You
The SLO community has shown tremendous support for this initiative. Local contractors have volunteered their time and resources, such as removing cabinets and capping sinks, to help prepare the new center. However, many costs remain to cover, including flooring, painting, furniture, and essential equipment like printers and computers.
We invite other businesses and individuals to support CCAMH’s mission. Donations to CCAMH are tax-deductible, and every contribution helps to ensure that children, teens, and young adults receive the care they need during these challenging times. We look forward to seeing this new Treatment Center’s positive impact on our community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ramona Friedman, Lori Butterworth, and the entire team at CCAMH for their unwavering dedication to expanding access to mental health care. Your work is making a profound difference in many young people’s and their families’ lives. For more information on how you can help, visit ccamh.org.
