IoT Gateways are important to collect data from sensors and upload it to the cloud. The Gateworks GW5910 is a new single board computer that is specifically designed with an IoT Gateway in mind. The GW5910 features an optional onboard Ti CC1352P Dual-Band Wireless MCU supporting Sub-1GHz RF for communicating with sensors over long distances. An onboard Laird Sterling 802.11b/g/n WiFi/Bluetooth module allows communication with BLE nodes as well as providing a WiFi connection for cloud connectivity. Two Mini-PCIe slots provide expansion options for other cloud connectivity, such as the GW16130 Satellite Iridium Modem or the GW16126 Cat M1 Cellular Modem. A single ethernet port provides wired connectivity while and optional u-blox GNSS GPS Receiver gives pinpoint positioning. The GW5910 is optimized for nearly all IoT applications, including industrial factory environments, outdoor oil & gas sites, agriculture, healthcare, transportation and asset tracking.
