SMT operator/programmer.

Job Summary:

• Set-up, operate and maintain DEK 265 stencil printer.
• Set-up, operate and maintain Phillips/Assembleon Topaz Pick & Place machine as well as routine maintenance.
• Run and verify thermal profiles for BTU VIP98 convection reflow oven.
• Coordinate jobs flowing through SMT line with planning personnel.
• Work with team members to produce surface mount PC boards.
• Interact with internal Test Department to eliminate placement / solder process errors.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
• Demonstrate a Customer Service-oriented mindset in dealing with in-house customers.

The Position requirements are as follows:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED); plus minimum of three years directly related experience.
• Experience with SMT production equipment, including screenprinting, placement and reflow. Knowledge of solder paste characteristics, reflow profiles, and proper handling and storage.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write effective daily correspondence and display the ability to communicate effectively to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Hand soldering and PCB assembly skills desirable.
• Experience with Phillips Topaz a plus.
